5.1. Product Description, Colours, Pricing and Availability
Products are displayed on the website and described in the most accurate way possible. However, Eco lifestyle does not certify that the product descriptions, images or any other content of the website is accurate, complete, reliable and/or error free. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of the products that appear on the site. As the actual colours you see will depend on your computer’s monitor we cannot guarantee, however, that your monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate. The products displayed on this site are subject to availability and will be delivered only within the Republic of South Africa, within the defined areas as determined by the company. All prices displayed on the site are valid and effective only in the Republic of South Africa. The Company reserves the right, without prior notice, to discontinue or change pricing or specifications on products and services offered on this site without incurring any liability whatsoever.
5.2. Orders and Payments
Eco lifestyle is committed to providing secure online payment facilities. All transactions are encrypted using appropriate encryption technology.
A purchase contract (“sale”) only comes into effect if and when you electronically submit a properly completed order (“order”) for one or more products into your shopping basket. You will then be re-directed to a page on the website that allows you to add items to your electronic shopping cart. In order to submit your order, you will need to click the “check out” icon and follow the instructions. Once this process is complete your order will be submitted to Eco lifestyle. Please note that an order is merely an offer to purchase and Eco lifestyle reserves the right to accept or reject your offer for any or no reason including, but not limited to, the unavailability of any product, an error in the price or the product description, or an error in your order. Please note that product stock of all items is limited and Eco lifestyle will take all the reasonable attempts to ensure that special offers are bought to an end when stock runs out. If we cancel due to our inability to fulfil your order in terms of the advertised price or product being sold out, we will provide a full refund of your order. Prices are shown in South African Rand. Prices of products are current at the time of display and are subject to change from time to time without notice. Payments may be made either by credit cards, via electronic bank transfers (“EFT”) or by cash deposit. In terms of credit card payments, at time of placing the order, the transaction details are presented to the bank and payment is collected automatically. However, if you select to pay via EFT, instructions on how to deposit monies into Eco lifestyle bank account and payment will be identified by supplying the order number and surname in the reference section of the deposit slip or on the electronic transfer. If your payment is not received or declined by your bank or credit card issuer, we cannot hold your order and your order will not be processed.
5.3. Delivery of Products
Eco lifestyle only offers one method of delivery of goods to you and that is via courier service. If you want to make collection arrangements please contact our office. Orders will be processed within 24-48 hours receipt of payment, besides the weekend and public holidays. Thereafter products will be dispatched and delivered within 1-5 working days, excluding circumstances beyond our control, e.g. customs delays, strikes, etc.
- Disclaimer of warranties; Limitation of Liability
We do not guarantee, represent or warrant that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. We do not warrant that the results that may be obtained from the use of the service will be accurate or reliable. You agree that from time to time we may remove the service for indefinite periods of time or cancel the service at any time, without notice to you.

9. Refund Policy
We want you to be happy with your order. Eco Lifestyle is based on innovation. To us, that means quality meets affordability for our customers.
This ensures South African's have the pleasure of an innovative product which fully compliant with every applicable European environmental and safety regulation - which is the highest standard in the world. As all products are tested within a laboratory, to ensure extensive quality tests in accordance with EU legislation, meaning we offer the best of the best.
If you are not completely satisfied, let us know so we can ensure we do not make the same mistake again. This policy forms part of the Eco Lifestyle Terms and Conditions, and so words defined in the terms and conditions have the same meaning in this policy unless the context indicates otherwise. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit your statutory rights in any way.
Please note products under 'pre-order status' can take up to 3 months to arrive due to it coming from overseas. Please ensure you read descriptions carefully or contact us if you are unsure.
1.1 You must notify Eco Lifestyle of the return within 14 days of purchase by sending an explanation as to why you want to return via our contact page or email email@example.com. Thereafter the 14 days we cannot be held liable.
1.2 We do offer hassle-free returns. If the item was not what you expected, you are able to return it for a fee of R120 and R200 for furniture items, which we will organise the courier to collect the order. Once we receive the order back we will do an inspection to ensure the returned product is in good condition. We will then refund you the original amount paid or allow you exchange for the same or another product of the same value.
1.3 We will not accept returned products that are not in their original packaging, if the product is damaged, unsealed or missing, or the products show signs of handling and/or re-packaging.
1.4 All our flat packed furniture comes with instructions please follow it avoid any unnecessary breakages we will not be liable for any breakages upon assembling.
2.1 If you received the goods damaged or defective we will replace the item if we have stock. Failing that, we will refund you for the damaged goods in full.
2.2 Items ordered but want to be cancelled are not subjected to a refund. Items may be replaced for other items of the same value before delivery has taken place and before 14 days of purchased date.
2.3 If you forgot to use your coupon code, we cannot add it to your order or refund you the discounted amount but you are allowed to use it on your next order.
3.1 Replacements can only occur if you notify us within 14 days and email us firstname.lastname@example.org with proof of damages. We will not refund or replace if there is any evidence that the product has been used.
3.2 If we cannot see clear damages we may ask you the return the products to us, after we inspect it and can clearly see the defects we will exchange it long as if the item is still in its original packaging and has not been modified in any way.
3.4 Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to be delivered to you, may take up to 2-7 business days.
4. Defective products
We will try our best to ensure that the products we deliver to you are of high quality, and in good working order and without defects.
What is a defect? A defect is a material imperfection in the manufacture of a product or any characteristic of a product, which makes the product less acceptable than one would reasonably be entitled to expect in the circumstances. Please refer to our FAQs for examples.
The following will NOT be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a return under this section:
4.1 Faults resulting from normal wear and tear.
4.2 Damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product.
4.3 Damage arising from electrical surges or sea air corrosion.
4.4 Damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product.
4.5 Damage arising from unauthorised alterations to the product.
4.6 Where the specifications of a product, although accurately described on the website and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you.
5. Standard Warranty
5.1 If you have received a product which turns out to be defective, please notify us as soon as possible after you become aware of the defect or poor quality. You can do so by notifying us via our contact page or email@example.com.
5.2 Where there is no extended supplier warranty period, unfortunately we cannot facilitate returns that fall outside of a 14-day period.
